The plumbing department plans water, sewage and other fluid systems, in accordance with the Planning and Construction Act, Provisions for Sanitary Facilities and other specific standards. The work is done throughout the construction of the building, from the beginning until actual construction in the field, as the project engineers accompany the process in all matters.
The department consists of 5 teams of 2-3 engineers and practical engineers each, which provide an answer both to the planning of piping systems and to complicated projects that integrate other disciplines like fire extinguishing systems and safety consultation.
In these complicated projects the unique advantage of Yossi Pnini Consulting Engineers is demonstrated as a multi-disciplinary company – whether by the personal attitude of the project engineer in the various subjects or in the integration of engineers of different departments together in the same project.
The work process:
The planning begins with studying and getting to know the project and its requirements against the actual condition in the field, inspection of the existing infrastructures and adaptation between the existing condition and the planned condition.
Then, preliminary planning takes place – including the piping alignment, calculation of quantities and requirements of sanitary fixtures and main systems, which is presented to the client and other consultants while defining the operational requirements and financial implications.
Then overall planning is done for the building, under a Sanitary Appendix that is submitted for the approval of the authorities (municipality, Ministry of Health and Environment etc.).
Once the approval is obtained, detailed planning of the systems is performed until shop drawings, technical specifications and bills of quantities are provided to the client. The planning is integrated in the other building systems.
During the construction, we accompany the project by providing solutions to problems and overall supervision, until the project is completed and approved by our planning.
