The Safety Department deals with fire safety consultation for projects under construction and licensing processes.
The consultation services include all issues related to compliance with the fire extinguishing requirements, the requirements of the Israeli police and the Planning and Construction Act – with respect to the safety definitions and requirements under the building planning.
The department consists of 8practical engineers,Architects and engineers supported, as necessary, by 3 engineers who serve as project managers in other fields (when the project requires such assistance).
Each safety consultant works independently and directly with the entrepreneur and the project's planning team.
In addition, the department deals with the preparation of field files and hazards surveys for projects handled by the company and others, pursuant to the fire extinguishing requirements and business licensing requirements.
The service includes accompaniment of entrepreneurs and various consultants throughout the planning and construction process, until approvals are obtained for the purpose of a building permit, and until a final approval is obtained from the authorities at the end of the construction.
The process includes:
Preliminary studying, learning and adapting the project to the applicable requirements and standards.
Definition of requirements for the consultants, common work and finding solutions to problems (if any) while providing instructions for the solution to ensure meeting the requirements.
Preparation of a safety plan under an architectural submission file (''garmoshka'') including safety indications and a file of specific instructions describing in detail the safety requirements in the building and all of its parts.
Submission of plans to the authorities and discussions, as necessary, of the issues and requirements raised by them until an approval is obtained.
Project accompaniment throughout the detailed planning process and construction phase, by providing instructions and answering specific questions that are raised during the process.
Inspection of the building before the completion of the construction phase, according to the plans, under overall supervision and accompaniment of the inspecting authority (fire brigade, police etc.) in the building inspection and approval to obtain final approval.
