The department is engaged in the planning of fire extinguishing and sprinkler systems, as part of the planning of piping systems in integrated projects (plumbing and safety) and plans unique and specific extinguishing systems in compliance with the customer's requirements and needs: various sprinkler systems, foam extinguishing systems, wet powder and special extinguishing systems,
In addition, the department serves as a supporting planning body (company engineers) for companies dealing with sprinkler installation.
The department staff, consisting of 5engineers and practical engineers,which are also supported by additional engineers engaged in planning pluming systems provides regular consultation services, engineering support and solution of problems related to the systems and buildings handled by them.
The planning is done by the applicable Israeli, NFPA and FM safety and quality standards, according to the planned system. Based on the compliance with these standards, we strive to reduce costs and achieve savings for the client, strive to reach appropriate maintenance and maximum flexibility, in order to enable adaptation to future modifications and additions.
The working process:
The planning process begins with studying the building, its risk level and condition of the municipal network and/or source of water supply to the system.
Once the definitions are set, the sprinkler system is designed by the applicable standards and plans are drawn.
The next phase includes hydraulic calculations to verify the system operation and establish the necessary feed rates, along with optimization of the planning, to complement the planning process. Then, final plans are developed.
The plans are submitted for inspection and approval to a certified lab and at the same time to the client for system installation.
During the installation by the sprinkler contractor and thereafter, we accompany the process as part of the overall supervision, and once it is inspected and approved by a certified lab, we verify that it indeed meets the defined requirements.
